After I installed the recent security update for Mac OS X v10.6.2 Snow Leopard on my MacBook Pro, I noticed this problem just today. Apple Footer. This site contains user submitted content, comments and opinions and is for informational purposes only.

I have been investigating the issue of the disappearing Windows 10 touchpad gestures on the Yoga 3 Pro and have additional data to report. I hope someone at Lenovo can follow up. By the way, based on reports on the Reddit Thinkpad forum, the issue affects Thinkpad Yogas as well. The problem is that the new Windows 10 gestures (3-finger swipe up for Task View, 3-finger swipe down for Desktop, etc.) work fine immediately after installation, but stop working after a restart or even just resuming from sleep.

Specifically, after a restart or resume, I get the Windows 8 gestures back-swipe up/down does notthing, and swipe lerft/right move back/forward. This despite the fact that the taskbar applet indicates that swipes should yield Task View, Desktop, etc. Oddly, 3- and 4-finger taps work. The new data I have is that simply reinstalling the drivers doesn't do anything. What does bring Win10 gestures back is uninstalling the Lenovo Synaptics package from the Uninstall or Change programs control panel, and then reinstalling the drivers (I used the latest ones from the Lenovo support page). However, even that is short-lived. A restart or resume brings back the old Win8 behavior.I think that (good) fully uninstalling wipes the registry of any Synaptics-related entry (I checked this). Reinstalling populates it with the correct entries.

It tells me there are issues with the upgrades that still need to be addressed and fixed. My studio's internet connection is only 1.5 Mb/s on a good day, so I've always purchased and downloaded my virtual instrument libraries at home and then installed them on my studio PC from a flash drive. Buy cheap native instruments kontakt 5 5.5.2 for mac My understanding is that I cannot do this with NI-powered libraries using 5.6.8 or higher, because they must be downloaded directly from Native Access.I'm still using 5.5.2 because it's been working flawlessly, and there haven't been any 5.6+ library releases that I absolutely need. I just can't wrap my head around that.

(bad), there is something that, upon resuming or restarting, mucks up the registry entries again.I strongly suspect it's some old Lenovo background app. I did an upgrade from Windows 8.1.Any thoughts? Hi Marciano,Thank you for posting this. I recently encountered this same issue. I've now spent almost two hours talking to Lenovo technical support to try to resolve this. All they did was uninstall and reinstall the Synaptics driver (multipe times).

Finally, after the third try, the agent got the three-swipe gesture to open up task view etc, to work. However, as you noted, after putting the computer to sleep, and reopening, the three-finger swipe functionality went away. Then I scheduled a call with Microsoft support. After 5 hours (no joke), they finally gave me a call back. They were even more clueless. First, the agent tried to install different drivers (for Windows 8 for that matter) that weren't needed, such as a VGA driver. Basically, after putting me on hold serveral times, and talking to his supervisor, all they told me was that I would either need to call Lenovo (which I already had) or just wait until future Microsoft updates, and hope one of them fixes the issue. Ridiculous.Basically, it sounds like our only option is to hope for a future patch that resolves.

Of course, this is assuming they are aware of this reoccuring issue. Which considering my call with Microsoft, they are not aware of the issue.Hopefully, you find a solution sooner than I do. If so, please let us know! Mario,I tried reinstalling the new drivers that were put up today, and it still does not resolve the issue. After the computer is put to sleep, the functionality still goes away. The only workaround is putting the computer in hibernate mode when the lid is closed. The functionality stayed intact when in this mode.In regards to the phanton touch, I just found out today that this has been resolved via a firmware update. Please see this link:So far I have not had any ghost or phantom touches.

In my view, the Oly colour is the in-camera JPEG engine or the in-software RAW metadata reading engine of Oly Master and Oly Studio.ACR or Adobe Lightroom are third party software - when they read.ORF, they don't take the RAW metadata hints into account except generic things like camera 'as shot' White Balance. But am I losing the 'Oly color?' Open .orf files in photoshop cs4 for mac download. (Acronym overload)I found that I can view in Adobe Lightroom and export as DNG.

But it's only been a few hours (knock on wood!). I am on a Y2P but had the same issue. What worked for me was to uninstall the driver (this also clears out the registry). Then let windows update reinstall the driver (it is the same version as the one Lenovo supplies for the Y2P).

Installing the Lenovo one would probably be just fine. I then noticed the registry did NOT have all the settings restored so from the touchpad control panel I clicked 'Restore all defaults' on the three finger tab. This forced the settings into the registry.

I think the 'Restore all defaults' is the key to making it stick.I have been running this way now for a week and still have the windows default gestures (and not the forward/back gestures that I was reverting to before).
