I should have known better. I listened to people who said that the kawasaki was a good engine choice in modern lawn equipment. I purchased this mower for use at my home just two years ago, the engine has only 50 hours on it, and I've run into a serious issue.

Last time I used the mower, no problems. Put it back in the barn, then two days later needed to start it to move it out of the way of other equipment. Fires as usual with the choke on, but now when I turn the choke off the engine sputters and dies. I found that I can modulate the choke lever back and forth to (barely) keep it running enough to move it, but it definitely has a big problem. I pulled the fuel line off the carb, it runs out fine. I checked the fuel solenoid voltage, which is also fine. I did not remove the fuel solenoid to actually see it move, but I can hear it click when I turn the ignition on and off.

Put a new air filter in, even though the original wasn't that bad. Don't know what else to do. Can anyone give me a suggestion?
